Faith is an important part of Mark Rivkin’s everyday life and he feels a strong obligation to give back to Jewish communities in Israel, Canada and throughout the world. As a Toronto native, Mr. Rivkin has always had a strong connection to the Holy Blossom Temple and he is proud to do his part in preserving it as one of the largest and most distinguished Reform Jewish Congregations in North America.
The Holy Blossom Temple is a Reform synagogue located at 1950 Bathurst Street in Toronto, Canada. Founded in 1856, it’s the oldest Jewish congregation in Toronto and it has a growing community of more than 7,000 members. Throughout the Temple’s history of more than 150 years, the initiatives of building character and bettering the religious community through unity and prayer have remained constant.
The Holy Blossom Temple provides members like Mark Rivkin with a variety of opportunities for meaningful engagement with family, friends and congregants through family programs, music, theatre, and acts of responsibility. Family programs include Family Mitzvah Days, Holy Blossom Temple Family Camp, Family Shabbat Services and Tot Shabbat. There are also many other community outreach programs like Bikur Cholim, Habitat for Humanity, the Musical Heritage Concert Series and Holy Sprouts.
In addition to strengthening faith and preserving the Jewish community, the Holy Blossom Temple strives to support those in need; and you can join Mark Rivkin in this honorable effort.
